Bachelor producer Craig Ferguson’s relationship with the Bachelor franchise has become a hot topic in the wake of the Bachelor in Paradise actress Caitlin Jenner’s controversial interview with the media.
In an interview with USA Today, Jenner discussed how she had to confront Caitlyn Jenner on how she felt about her appearance and how the world viewed her.
Jenner said she thought about the backlash from her public persona in light of her decision to come out as transgender and how it had affected her life.
Jenner was not the first person to come forward about her gender identity and it will be interesting to see how many others will speak out about their experience in the coming days.
While Jenner’s relationship to the Bachelor has become an issue in the Bachelor world, it has also come under scrutiny due to her relationship with her boyfriend, Bachelor in Development producer Craig “Cocky” Ferguson.
On Sunday, The Bachelor producers were on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
to discuss the Jenner-Ferguson relationship.
Ferguson’s involvement with the show has caused controversy since the beginning, as well as his past comments.
In 2014, Ferguson said of Caitlyn: ‘She looks like she’s been playing a game, but I know she’s actually a man.’
In the same year, Ferguson also stated he felt uncomfortable when Caitlyn walked on set.
When Jenner came out to the world as Caitlyn in the first season of Bachelor in the USA, it was a revelation that was received with disbelief and confusion from many.
Caitlyn, for her part, was hesitant to come to the show as Caitlin due to the backlash.
When she first appeared on the show in the second season, she faced some backlash due to Jenner’s public persona.
Caitlin has since come out on social media to express her support for Jenner, who is also a former Olympic swimmer.
Caitlyn Jenner is the first transgender person ever to appear on the Bachelor series.
It’s a bold move, especially in light that Caitlyn has yet to announce her gender transition and it was widely speculated that she would transition after the finale of Bachelor In Paradise.
Caitlynn Jenner has previously said she is transitioning, and the actress and model is set to make her transition on Sunday.
“My transition is going to be this weekend,” Jenner told Jimmy Kimmel on Sunday during the first episode of Bachelor: Paradise.
“We will be filming in Vancouver in a few weeks and I’m super excited to be on that show, I’m very excited to have a new chapter in my life.
I feel like the whole world is waiting for me to be able to be the person that I am.”
Caitlyn’s transition has sparked a lot of controversy since Caitlyn came out.
The Bachelor franchise is currently undergoing an identity crisis due to Caitlyn being a former athlete.
ABC News reports that the Bachelor season finale is set for 8:00 p.m.
ET on Sunday, March 5.
